Details and Rules

Thank you for your interest in the Bishop Arts Brew Riot and Homebrew Competition. If this is your first year competing- get ready for a good time, if this is your second or third- please note the Riot is now in May (not that we didn’t enjoy sweating with you last year.)
The 2011 Homebrew Competition will be a part of Bishop Arts Brew Riot and will be held Sunday May 22 on Bishop Ave be-tween 7th and 8th. The fest will take placefrom 4pm to 8pm. However, we are asking our homebrewers to please check in and get set up at 1:30 pm. We will provide a table, tent (see below), sam-ple glasses, rocking live music and ice (lots and lots of ice.)
All entry forms and fee ($20 only $10 if you bring your own tent) are due May 17th.Proceeds of the Brew Riot and Homebrew Competition will benefit Go Oak Cliff. Click here to access the sign-up form.
We plan for the event to be very educational yet fun. We strongly encourage: decorating your table, demonstrations, coming in costume and promoting the homebrew craft in any way. A people’s choice award will be given and we feel that brewers that share and entertain will be favored.

  1. Do you know if any of the brewers are making gluten-free beers? I love beer, but since my diagnosis with Celiac Disease in 2001, my hoppy options have been pretty limited.

    Thanks!
